Information for Spectators

This year BAJA DEUTSCHLAND is again an independent event and will be carried out in the already known way. This means that the off-road motorsport will be at the core of the event! Visitors will experience in the spectators’ area a very interesting and varied route close up!

The Event takes place from 06 to 08 October 2017 close to Hоhenmölsen, south of Leipzig.

What to expect?
The participants will compete in different classes against each other. Over 550 racing kilometers on extremely difficult terrain have to be completed in 3 racing days. In addition to the driving skills navigation is a key factor. To find the right way the participants must follow the racing road book.

At this event, amateurs meet professionals and even teams and participants of the legendary DAKAR Rally can be found in the paddock. This diversity is a key characteristic of the event and also allows starter with a smaller budget to gain a great success. The realisation of BAJA DEUTSCHLAND is only possible thanks to the support of MIBRAG. Also in this year MIBRAG provides appropriate terrain sections for the event and is an important reliable partner for the implementation of the race.

For all motorsport and off-road fans who do not want to miss this highlight there has been an area for spectators set up. This is right next to the paddock and is open from 06:00 to 20:00. From there, the race can be experienced close up. Your well-being and entertainment is guaranteed.

The motorcycles and the quads will race each morning on the track. From 13:00 will start the 4×4 cars, SSV’s and the trucks. Traditionally the award ceremony will be on Sunday evening in the camp.

Behind the scenes of the event there are more than 100 people taking care of the smooth running of the event and the safety of visitors and participants. Please follow all instructions of the race officers and park only in the designated areas. For safety reasons is the access to the terrain outside the spectator area prohibited!

We look forward to all the motorsport enthusiasts who will cheer and support the participants.
